You are almost there, take a look at the article now, I have added one of your images so you can see how it works. All you do is paste in that gallery code, click preview to check and then save it.

Please take some time go through your spelling and formatting as it is awful. I had a hard time understanding what you meant. If you use the firefox web browser, it will underline your spelling mistakes in red which makes it easier to find and fix them even if you are dyslexic. You'll get a much better response if you take time to clean up your spelling, and I must warn you that articles below dakka's spelling standards may be deleted. This would be a real shame as you certainly have an impressive imperial guard force there that people would enjoy reading about. Remember, you only type it once, but hundreds of people have to try and read things hundreds of times, and multiple spelling mistakes will just annoy them.

The whole point of an army profile is to show off pictures of your army and talk about what went into making the army and how it performs for you. To get an idea of what I'm talking about you check out either one of my two army profiles:

http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Hivefleet_yakface
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Dakka_Detachment_1_Adepticon_2008_Tau_Army

So you can see, the goal is to show off a finished army with good pics and talk about the army. If you're just interested in showing off some pics of your army and getting feedback on your army lists and painting, then for the most part you're just better off posting your list in the army list forum and your pics in the modeling & painting forums as in both cases you'll tend to get more feedback that way.

However, if you do really want to show off your army then the first thing you need to do is get some better pics of your models. I looked at the links you have to your photobucket account and most of your pics are extremely small to the point where you can't even see what the models and the painting looks like and many of them are out of focus too!

So you need to go back and take some nice new big pics of your models that are in focus. We will host pics up to 10mb in size (which is HUGE).

Once you get pics like that uploaded, you then would want to add them into your army profile as Legoburner showed you, and you'd want to add any commentary you have about the units in particular and the army in general.

As it stands now, having all those links to another site doesn't really work as an army profile on Dakka. So if all that sounds like too much work let me know and I can help you convert that into some forum posts to put up in the modeling and painting forums instead.

I switched the links over to the gallery images, and i know i have to do a lot more work on the article. i need to get the time to actaully get each individual unit a spot, (thogh for the most part they are all normal models) i think i am going to change the whole thing over so that in the army pics section i focus on the nicer builds i have done.

also i checked out your armies and i am going to add a comentary on the general performance of my units. i like how you set the extra images on the sides, how can i do something like that?

im not too happy with what i have right now, and i need to play with my camera a bit more.

so thanks for inspiring me to get this done right.

it is going to be my project for the next while.
iomorrow i will tweak everything with new images, and talk more about what i have done and would like to do.

the only thing i am really worried about is the paint jobs on a fair number of my guardsmen. (not a lot i can really do right now, i cant even find the time to finish a lot of them right now) but im going to redo a few squads so they present better.

im not too intersted in feed back, but it would be nice to get some. so i may take you up on the offer to help sometime.

A few things on army lists.

You can add bulleted items by putting asterisks in front of them. Adding additional
asterisks creates subtopics like in outlines.

HQ
*Senior Officer
**Power Weapon
**Carapace Armor

Would display as

  • Senior Officer
    • Power Weapon
    • Carapace Armor

Or something like that.
