In the unit entry of the Wraithlord you can choose 2 Flamers or 2 shuirken Catapults, if you choose either slection do they become twin-linked like the shoulder mounted weapons do when you choose two of the same? I say no because the unit entries/wargear specificly state if it did. This question would also extend to War walkers as well and again i vote no because the unit entry would state specificly if 2 identical weapons become twin linked automacticly.

you're correct, they are not twin-linked unless it said so.

Do they say they become twin-linked? If not, then they don't. There is no rule that says if you have two of the same weapon that they automatically become twin-linked.

The flamer and catapults aren't twin linked as it doesn't say so. However if you take dublicates of the other wepons on a Wraithlord they are twinlinked p66 of eldar dex.

Edit: removed War Walker as it doesn't say the become twin linked.

Doesnt it say somewhere in the BRB that 2 identical weapons on a unit make it become twin linked?

The only reason I think this is because in the Tyranid 'dex it states that devourers are "twin-linked devourers", therefore letting you have 2 and firing each of them with MC firing rules, because having 2 TL weps doesnt double TL them. (God that would be stupid), as opposed to having 2 devourers and then having them become TL'd.

As I have already stated, there is not a rule that says if you take two of the same weapon that they automatically become twin-linked.

Tau have a rule that says two of the same battlesuit weapons are twin-linked.
Tyranids have it on their big bugs.

Only the eldar Wraithlord has this rule for heavy weapons (in the eldar army). It states it in the entry. The Warwalker does not state that they become twin-linked, so are not.

Which makes wraithsword wraithlords very cheap & very cheerfully brutal at 90pts. 100pts for a smidgen of ranged pew.

They might be more than 90. I can't seem to find the costs to equip with a wraithsword....
