Well I just got into wargaming and I painted my first(not counting an LotR ork when I was 11) 5 modeles in the past 3 days, and now I want some feadback on them

Anyways see for yourself;

sorry for massive size.
They are painted from left to right in a chronological order.
I am now only focussing on finishing those ultramarines, because each last sunday of the month our local shop hosts(or is going to) a little gaming day.

I really like how the sgt. came out.

I did the normal boy first because I didn't really like him and didn't want to mess up painting a good one,
then I did the big shoota boy because on minis with the gun over their chest I find it easier to glue the arm on after painting.

And all that I have to do(exept the 5 guys metioned before.)
18 ork boyz, 3 deffkoptas, a warboss an his squad of 5 nobz
7 tactical space marines, a captain, 5 man terminator squad, and a normal dread.

And hello to you all.
PS sorry for bad quality, pictures are taken with my cell phone.

Game will be okay if I get a hold on the rules.(seem pretty hard right now, probably easier when playing?)

UPDATE on my army;

He is my captain which I just finished.
I painted him in about 1,5 to 2 hours.(normal marine is 1, how lond do you guys take?)
but he is beautifull. Although I need bleached bone because I also bought the starter set paint and stuff.
Any tips will be apreciated.(hell hard word!)

BTW if this is in the wrong part of the forum just say so.

Hi! Great models

92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your sig.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment

Thx

But I have a question: Is it worth buying bleached bone right now?
Because I only have white right now, and when I say white it is just plain white and I think it looks bad.

Next question: I do not have heavy units exept the dread, and I think a arillery would fit in but vindicators, thundercannons and dread are all very close in price.
So which is the best buy for a beginner army.(If I buy the dread I got 700 points, and I don't know how much the others are in points.)

WELL this would do ALOT better in discussion or tatics forum. BUT to answer it really depends. Dreds are always a good bang for the buck. They strait kick but and if you modify them so you can swap out the arms depending on what your fighting, you cna have either a serious CC killer or take those arms off and put on the heavy weapons and have a serious heavy shooter.
Very versatile. Tho if you want just strait fire power I think the thuder fire cannon and the vindicator is a close race. The thunderfire does get that cool barrage thing tho.

!!!!!!!

So that said I admid I was a stupid #%^&$er when I glued my dreads arms on, so now when I buy a new one(four arms suplied) I am still stuck with the multi melta and cc weapon.
Then on the other dread I will just not glue them on and then they are interchangeable, right?
