looks good, dont get me wrong, its painted well, but i dont know, it seems to be lacking something, its just a bit plain for me. The panels and leg armour could do with some writing or scrolls/purity seals??

those are my thoughts anyway

Perhaps an Asurmen Blue wash to add depth?

I'd throw a few of the Space Wolf decals on it to add a bit of flair. There isn't anything that grabs your attention with the model.

The painting is nice and clean and the edge highlights are well done.

Like others have said, I'd suggest adding appropriate SW iconography and decals.

Also, you might want to drybush and inkwash the base a bit to give it more depth and perhaps distress the decapitated CSMs helmet.

Overall, I think this is a really nice model and it just needs a couple of more steps to make it a great one. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to get my brushes out again !!

Add some SW decals and bits and then drill out the gun barrels.

Thanks for the comments guys!
I'll add a wolf icon on the left armor plate but the problem is that I don't have any SW bits...
I have a other question for you guys. Should I keep the CSM head on the base or not?

Thanks in advance. See ya.

Horrific Hive Tyrant

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

just a thought to break up large blocks of plain colour (going back to old skool wolves)

paint a large surface area yellow [example: dreads shoulder]
then paint in the black teeth, giving you a black and yellow dag (DAG = dog tooth pattern)
cant find any pics of it, but ill try and dig some out.

Like the others said, some really nice highlights but the models are lacking something, use some decals or try sculpting wolf skins!

The icons really help break up the large fields of blue. Your rhino and dread look much better.

I have a question for you guys. Should I buy wolf scouts or aren't they any good? Has any body experience with them?

Thanks in advance.

they are deadly, they can be armed with Plasma and Melta weapons and one squad of them gets deployed in the enemy Deployment zone, meaning lots of rear armor shots at close range for those tanks that like to sit still behind a meat shield, or tool them out for CC and just attack a unit that is hanging around near their deployment zone.
