To drag this up, I finally got round to watching the end 3 episodes. Not too happy compared with what could have happened. I can tolerate the ditching of technology, but I'd have left Kara with Anders on the ship instead of outright making her some magical angel. The thing that really bugged me most of all was that throughout the series, the only thing holding people together was each other and their relationships, and to then go and burn that all away by everyone going off on their own bugged the hell out of me. There was way more religion stuff than I thought was necessary and I think that could have all been handled a lot better. What I was hoping to see was them setting down on a planet (not Earth) with a similar ending but a lot more community instead of isolation. Could have been a worse ending, but it was a shame to have such an enjoyable series (aside from a few episodes here and there) go out with a fizzle instead of a bang.
