Hey all, just thought I'd throw up a few pics of the Skyray. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out, would have liked it if I didn't have to rush for Adepticon.

Oh well, just the objective markers and fire warriors to go!

There are a few more pics on my site that I was too lazy to repost here. Regardless, let me know what you think, I'm always up for constuctive criticism.

Thanks,

MegaDave

Good scheme, nice contrast, and clean highlights. Looks great! The army must be a sight to see together on the table.

Meh. It's alright, I suppose. If you're into that kinda thing. I mean it's got a real crisp, clean paint job. Nice use of color contrast, good detail on the highlighting. But hey, if it's good enough for you, then whatever

Lol, that's some nice sarcasm right there! Well thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it. There are just a few things I would have liked to spend more time on, and I always see the flaws in my work.

But hopefully this should make it's markerlights hit more since it's painted, I firmly believe that a painted model performs better than an unpainted one.

Very nice, clean job.

I think it needs some markings.

If I knew, I'd tell you.

Very nice painting. You should add some Tau marking though. Maybe paint "skyray" in Tau language on missile racks.

The oonivers vill burn!

Man, MegaDave, you don't post here nearly as often as you should. I miss your painting. Such good clean stuff.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Looks awesome, very clean. Personally I would make some of the panels white or light orange to contrast - as it is a lot of model for one color, some contrast would get my eyes moving around the model.

This orange isn't quite right but you get the idea?

Well mostly I'm just too lazy to repost stuff, but I'll try more in the future. I should have more time after Adepticon when I blog about painting my Reaver Titan. #267 accoring to the adepts at Forgeworld.

Moz: That orange would look neat on the skyray, especially since they are from Sacea, but I unfortunately don't have the time at the moment. maybe if I ever make an APOC formation out of skyrays, i can do the command tank that way.
