Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

From everything I hear it won't really be an option.

Well... the rumors seem to be pretty finalized... and IMO it's a better-built list. Drop guard was pretty much the only way to go if you wanted a chance with the last book, but there are many more options now.

The House that Peterbilt

How will they work? They'll already have 'dropped' (eg deployed) except a few sqauds that are still in the valkyries. Valkyries have a 'grav chute' rule, so they have effectively replaced the old drop rules with this rule.

Only unit that can DS without a valk appears to be Storm Troopers.

One could presumably take 9 valkyries and stuff the army in them and take little else.

Iorek: "Snoogums, you're right. Your arguments are irrelevant, and they sure as heck aren't going away."

hmmmm.... i hope it works. I am planning to start 1 though.my plan was to drop melta´s behind vehicles plasma´s behind elites and flamer´s behind troops.

1 problem I saw was large numbers of enemy troops in cover. on my FLGS´s main board many put cover near the edge, in the form of ruins or bunkers. flames work because the enemy dont get cover saves but getting close is a problem. losing a valk through mishap is not an option.

My blog here, here and here...
