I've actually done quite a number of storm lords, but for the most part I did not get photos (I regret that for first Terminator squad and two captains I did not have my studio set up).

I have some more storm lords, and other items in my gallery (click through my sig, and then click the gallery banner).

So, what do you think?

Thank you.

After improving my light-box situation, I recently got a better photo of this guy recently:

I updated most of my Hordes gallery along with him.

Wow. That's some great quality painting there. You managed to take the normal Storm Lords scheme and darken it up a bit so that the yellow isn't so eye-watering and the white isn't so clean.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I used a bone-white mixture for the white (start with a mustardy color like Snakebite, and mix some white into it as you highlight your way up to pure white). The yellow is done similarly, only with yellow as an intermediate color.

I think I'd like to use that same yellow for an imperial fists force sometime. It keeps away from being super bright in all the right ways.
