I was looking at the basic design of the deffkopta and it shares many similarities with a regular bike, although maybe a bit thinner?

Anyway, thought came to mind about using the kopta base, using top mount for bike guns (instead of blades), cutting the blades down just a bit, and transforming the kopta into a more Airboat look and have it count as bikes?

What do you think?

I think this would look pretty darn good, go wild with that idea because I think it could work.

You should just kitbash the bikes with the copters for a few super bikers...

I've been toying with the idea of making hovercraft based vehicles out of them and calling them Buggies. Have also seen some nice quads made out of Deffkoptas.

Particularly, I think the rotor mast would make a good twin linked weapon mount.

I'd get rid of the kopta blades entirely, put some sort of hovery tech underneath, and say that fluffwise they are a mekboy's semi-successful attempt at jetbikes, which can only barely get off the ground and so gamewise count as bikes.

I think the DeffKoptas are really recognizable following Blackreach, so the trick is to make them look different enough from their original form. Agreed - remove the rotors. Can it count as an airbike? Why not? Go for it! People used to use bikes for Deffkoptas as well before AOBR. With some thinking and konversion, it will work for you, too.

i made a really crazy looking deff kopta (driver had huge gun and power klaw) with TONS of dakka! and im going to count it as a warboss on bike... always wanted a warboss on a deffkopta but cant so itll be a bike!
