I'm thekingofdinner and I decided to join Dakkadakka because the real world is dark and scary and i need to become a better painter. I'm currently collecting imperial guard and have around 90 odd soldiers (no tanks yet) I started the hobby about 3 years ago with the macragge starter set, after playing two or three intro games i decided that this was the hobby for me and started collecting an army of Tyranids. I first discovered the joy of imperial guard when my brother pointed out that the tyranid army had way more troops (an extra pack of gaunts and some warriors) and thought the humans should get some too, so I went down to my flgs to buy some spass mareenz (hurr) but found out there was only 10 in a box so I bought some ig troops instead. I had to stop playing for the past year because i needed to worry about a bunch of annoying  but im back now! 
so yeah, hi
