After everything is deployed, the Eldar fail to seize the initiative and the Ork Mobz charge forward while one remains on the objective as per Boss's orders.

The Eldar jetbike army starts their engines and begin a major drive by on the Ork Boyz. The Farseers Guide and Fortune their allies, while 1 of the Farseers unleashes a Mind War against the Nobz Troops squad's Painboy and kills him with ease.

After taking quite a ton of casualties the Orks eagerly press forward to claim the heads of the Eldar farseers.

The Orks begin stampeding towards their enemies. Bringing the WAAGH! upon them! Very poor rolling from the Troop Nobz who had their painboy killed causes a wound as they roll a 1. The rest rolled decently enough to guarantee the Orks a mighty assault!

The Orks annihilate a farseer and his unit while the Ork Boyz are completely unable to damage the Farseer with the Warlock unit as they prove ridiculously resilient with their 3+/4+(inv) save aided by the Farseer's FORTUNE magicks. Orks lose combat but pass their leadership test luckily and keep the unit engaged.

From here on out my phone ran out of battery charge so I will write out the results of the battle. Sorry to everyone who's used to the pics all the way to the end.

Turn 2 Eldar
The Eldar receive their reserve units as they turbo-boost in. In the shooting phase they focus their fire power on taking out the Nob Troops and then subsequently the Elite Nobz but are unable to wipe them out as well. During the assault phase they re-position and await the inevitable counter-assault while sending in a War Walker unit to try and slow down the Ork Advance, a move that proves ineffective.

Turn 3 Orks
No back up is received by the Orks. The Ork Nobz move forward and assault the pesky Farseer/Warlock unit together with the other War Walker Unit remaining. They manage to take out 1 war walker and 1 Warlock as their re-roll allows them to be near impossible to kill even from PK attacks. The eldar cause 5 wounds and the Orks are forced to fall back after failing their morale checks! And are caught in the sweeping advance getting destroyed immediately.

Turn 3 Eldar
Now all that's left to take care of is the Orks camping on the objective. The eldar rush forward and beggin to shoot the Ork Boyz to hell and back killing about 10 due to their 4+ cover save.

=Store Manager= "Guys time is up, you need to clear the table"

Turn 4 Orks
Orks finally receive reinforcements as Snikrot and 1 Deffkopta Unit decide to finally show up after finishing their coffee, however the game had to end after the bottom of the 3rd.

We call the game a DRAW as there was possibility of it swinging in anyone's favor at that point. So feel free to speculate on it as we did. Here's what wat left

2 Eldar guardian jetbike troop units. 1 fire prism, 2 War Walkers with missile launchers and 1 farseer/warlock unit with destructor powers.

1 Ork Boyz Mob about 20 strong, 10 deffkoptas and Snikrot Kommandos.

The deffkoptas and snikrot would've had their pick of which edge to deploy from. And both Eldar guardian jetbikes units lingered within 12" of the short edges perfectly in assault range.

The eldar warlock/farseer unit's destructor flamers could've cleared the Boyz from the objective as well.

So we speculated that we would've wiped out each other's troops had the game continued turning the game into an annhilation scenario for victor.

Hmm. I think it would/ve been a draw: Snikrot and Deffkoptas kill the bikes and the War Walkers, while the orks on the objective are wiped out and both of you have an objective.

Nice battle rep. Were you playing at a GW? How long is the time limit on a table?

There is no time limit on the tables normally however it was saturday and on sats if there's a lot of people waiting to play they set about a 1 hour 1/2 time limit.

The messed up part is that we were asked to stop our game and there was NO ONE waiting to go on after us. Bleh

Nice batrep.I liked the bit where the farseer mind-warred
the nob's painboy.

Cheese Elemental-Love does not bloom in 40k. Love burns. It gets turned inside out, set on fire, raped, shot with bolters, and beaten with a crowbar.

Nice BR, pics are great and very descriptive. This guy I play with at my local store started putting together an eldar army as I started my orks and we're soon going to have an epic 1850 point battle.

1.5 hours!? My 1000 point games rarely take that long. That is a bit ridiculous. How many people are at your GW on an average Saturday?

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

That makes no sense. I recommend either playing on 1000 point games or asking the manager beforehand for extra time if nobody is around.

Either way that was a cool batrep. Thanks!

- Yes we are all allowed to play with unpainted models. Not everyone is a big fan of painting stuff or skilled enuff.
- And on a saturday you can see about 50 people at the store or more coming in an out. It's seriously packed on weekends.

Luckily a lot of them are beginners so they are just playing the beginer game on one board (we have 2 6x4 boards) so you can normally play your game as people are hangin out, painting, browsing or playing the beginner game.

Ther'es usually about 10 people in line waiting to play a game but because of the time limits a lot leave early and stuff like that or simply forget. In our case the people that were suposed to be on after us, left or something. But we had already been told to stop our game.
