I was just wondering has anyone had any luck with these guys? I was thinking of including 5 or so in my 2000 pt list. I imagine they would be fantastic for hunting war machines, lone wizards, expensive high toughness troops (knights, ogres), and take some enemy fire off from my Keeper of Secrets.

Are the Strength 5 Slashing attacks all they're cracked up to be? That should be enough to disable an Organ Gun or even maybe an Anvil if you were able to make in there.......

They are great vs armies with little to no shooting... daemons without flamers, WOC, Beasts Of Chaos, Bretonnians.

The zig zag mvt allowed for their slash attacks is one of the dopiest rules add ons in the game in that it completely goes against every other flier in the game.

They work wonders when there is little shooting as they move into position first turn and then run over 7 or 8 units per turn.

I faced a unit of 8!!!! with dwarf slayers.... thankfully he stupidly flew near long drongs and I moved forward on a hill and blasted him with 20 pistols....
