Sorry if this has been covered, but I was reading the Ork Codex entry for the Buzzsaw and it states it follows the rules for a powerklaw. But when reading the entry, it looks like the Kopta actually gets the saw, not the driver - sooo just clarifying where the weapon actually goes. I've seen the FW model of the Warboss on bike and am assuming he is using a buzzsaw type weapon?

Is the Str of a buzzsaw 6 or 7? I've seen people refer to both. And as the buzzsaw is like a powerklaw - it still hits at I1?

Why does the AOBR Kopta's have 4 rokkits on the front? Wouldn't a twin-linked Assault 1 weapon only be 2 rokkits?

Thanks.

Most of your questions can be answered with the words "modeling preference". The same goes for the rockets, its just how the artist felt it should look.

As far as the Str and Int of the buzz saw, it would make the deffcopta str 6 and I1. But Str7 on the charge due to Furious charge rule.

1) The weapon can go where you want it to, it really wouldn't make any difference.

2) Yes, its just like a powerclaw in every way. Remember orks have furious charge that sometimes gives them strength bonuses.

3) The other rockets are spares so the pilot doesn't have to climb out and reload them every time he shoots at something!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough...

There is no distinction between the rider and the Deffkopta.
Just as there is no distinction between the rider and his bike.

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

1: buzz saw is basically a kopta with a klaw, this can be shown on either the rider or the kopta, it just needs to be on that model for WYSIWYG.

2: its functions as a klaw, so I-1 and double strength.
so it hits at Str 6 normally, and 7 on the charge due to furious charge.

3: its just for looks, it simply has a TL rokkit launcha, the other rokkitz may be spares, or just random rokkitz added when designed.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.
