Hello everyone I am new to the forum and had a question about the Necrons. I don't know if this has already come up before so if it has I'm sorry I didn't see it. In the armoury section of the book under the warscythe it says "Warscythes are made from the same living metal as the hulls of Necron ships and the C'tan necrodermis (see page 27) ..." and on Page 27 it says"...they are clad in a necrodermis which binds their essence. A C'tan has an Invulmerable save of 4+..." So my question is does that mean the Necron Lord gets an Inv. sv. with a warscythe. I realize it says C'tan but why else would it tell me to go to page 27? If it was just a FYI why didn't it tell me to go to the page about the living metal under Monolith section.

Well, I don't have the codex, but from what I read, it looks like the quote you have there is fluff, and the codex is just pointing to some more fluff and that's about it.
But, we will wait until someone with an actual codex shows up.

No you don't get a Save from the Warscythe. All such things will be stated under the appropriate unit's entry. Sometimes telling fluff (background) from rules can be hard in GW's publications, especially for th new player; When in doubt look up the profile, for the model or the weapon itself.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

My Friend that plays Necrons pulled that one on me. When he showed that to me in the book I wasn't sure. I am in the middle of building a Necron army and if that was true then I figured I would do that in my army as well.
So I will let him know that it is just fluff and he is not allowed to do that. Thanks.
