Subject: Operation "Last Dance" (Reinforcement arrives at April 21st)
Well Dakka , i have been thinking about doing this for a long time now . But the need to use models from many different armies will
certainly confuse the other players to death , as well as choosing army rules that will suit the models.
The concept: The story behind this project is not original , i believe the whole franchise started at 1987? with the first been R-Type.
But the modeling behind this, would be indeed the first ( so im taking a very large step , probably beyond what i can do.... ) how bad would i fall from the step , i dont know.
The 2 armies : Human vs Bydo , models used. The history of the battle spanned over centuries . Thus infantry displayed ( first 150 hours of invasion)
will go along with the later *power suits + ships that will take place in later space battles.
Human army will probably incorporate lots of models mostly from Tau , with upcomming Valkyries as the main R-9 Arrow Head ships. ( 101 Variants )
IG guardsmen will fill the light infantry , while Terminators will fill the medium infantry, with battle suits been the heaviest .
Bydo is...... : "The living embodiment of evil. A living weapon built with the self-replicating properties of DNA, the Bydo has physical mass,
yet exhibits the properties of a wave. It diffuses easily, and fills any environment it encounters."
Thus Tyranids comes to mind , the models will play the basic organic part of these mutated beings. Remnants of their original host will be a part of their design ,
thus the original human type species ( IG , SM , Eldar , Tau ) and their machines will be a part of the mutated models.

April 21st:
The first wave of Bydo attack was actually not determined. South America was first to be invaded , its dense organic area and suitable
temperature was favored by the Bydos. The South American local forces were quickly and silently wiped out ( Catachans rofl )
Some advanced nations were aware of the attack but decided to keep back and study Bydo's attack patterns .
The first recorded 150th hour of the alien attack hit the major cities around the world. Giant monstrous organisms ( Carnifexes and such )
took out all the military bases , and seem immune to all normal arms and cannons.
With what seems to be human's inevitable extinction at hand , the weapons that were developed and kept in secrecy were first revealed.
Speeders carried hundreds of cargo crates containing the latest battle suit with heavy weaponry arrived ( well 2 wound 1 model right? >.> )
Las Cannons to cut through the thick carapace of Bydo titans , auto cannon rained their shells down to the lesser creatures.
Heavy mechas ( Leman Russ ) were in the front of the assault protecting the fragile war walkers with its battle cannons.
Followed closely behind supported by Manticore missle launchers ( Manticore :"P )
Together the army of old and new successfully repelled the first wave of Bydo invasion.
At last i understand we hurt others by our very existence.
Thats just the way we live.
We had all the time in the world. So i took you for granted.
I know its too late now , but i'll never leave your side again.
We need to learn to forgive , and realize existence is to be shared.
We're not just here to exist. But to find the strength to co-exist.
I wanted to be the only one that can heal you. But i think i endured it a little too much.

It might start from something small.
It may even seem impossible.

Sounds like a really cool army. They'll count as Tyranids though?

You ask me, personal fun is the best kind The group looks cool Luna, lots of nice sci fi with those French figs. Any plan on basing them to all tie in more? And the GW elements destined to match the AT-43 stuff, I'm guessing?
