I feel like making some counters for a CoD game and I want to make some counters that are a bit more then just a single model to represent something that and I wouldnt mind making it for a count as model, so Im asking (and hopeing a certien three headed F*cktard dosent leave a pointless comment) how would some of you converters go about making a crawler, like these

I was thinking of sentinal cockpit for the body frame and maybe some S.S. (sheet styrine) for the treads and such.

Well get some IG treads and tank wheels and some Plasticard, and go to work on the treads. And a sentinel body sounds perfect for the cab of this vechicle. Any IG player should have plenty of treads and possibly wheels.

I think the treads from an Ork Wartrak would be perfect for this. Wartrak treads and bed, Sentinel cockpit and then a dozer blade of some sort.

Think that if you browse a few of the toy stores or even a farm store(they usually have tons of tractor type toys) you could find what you are looking for w/o having to scratch build one.

What Grotsnik said. 1/35 scale usually works well although it is a little oversized, is much easier to find than 28mm heroic

Seriously? You didn't even give me a chance. You just flat out opened with an attack. I guess I don't need to point out how you misspelled 'hoping' and 'certain'.

Anyway, I was going to mention that this would be a cool idea and that I would be very interested in seeing you build it, but now? Nope.

It's a stupid one and you're probably gonna screw it all up.

Agree with previous posts you idea for the use of the wartrak and such is a good idea,oh and you should look up an article on the GW site its in the imperial guard article section it gives you a few ideas on how to give it a dirty /rusted look.

Y'know what will always get your thread locked? Posting an insult in the first post in your thread.

If you think someone is insulting you or leaving a pointless comment, the proper response is to either:

A) ignore them.
B) click the 'notify moderator' button above their post and let a moderator decide if their post is inappropriate.
C) use the 'ignore' feature to block you from seeing their posts in the future.

Insulting them back (or creating a new thread and then starting it with an insult) is never appropriate.
