Hi again,
First off, I am becoming a huge fan of your minis just from clicking on your auction links. Yes, I am trying to get inspired to get painting on my own
Second, you need more people like me :/. I browsed through your previous swap shop posts and saw you mentioned that your name may be somewhat known / you have won some painting awards. I would definitely include this in the description! You need a fan-base, but people can become insta-fans if they see your credentials and your minis
The extra pictures really help, although your description is wrapping around the side of it on my screen (just the part about shipping from mexico) which looks a little unprofessional. I think you just need an extra line break before it or something.
I also just wanted to clarify something- I mentioned before I thought you should describe how you painted the minis, but describing the type of paint is lost on most people (like me) looking to buy a painted mini. Instead, I would describe the time and love/labor spent on the mini, or something general like "5 levels of highlights and 3 washes" to give us a good idea that the paint job is as good as it seems, not worse in real life.
Last thing... I checked your completed listings, and you can see that figures that can be used for HQs come much closer to meeting the price they're worth for all of the effort (since someone could spring for $50 or $100 for one HQ model to lead their army) than sergeants :(. Someone got a great deal on those puppies! Wish it had been me, too (although it may have been if I wasn't completely broke at the moment).
Best of luck and love your work!
P.S. perhaps you could sell some cheaper items to get more feedback, since having less than 10 also makes things seem a little risky, and makes it harder to look at your work as that of an established painter/seller. Especially putting your credentials and awards (in text or in link form) would help with this

Oh gosh! I don't see the words "warhammer" or " 40k" in most of your listings :( (completed or current)
This means that if I was searching my most common term when just randomly browsing ebay... "painted" and " 40k" they wouldn't even come up! And even if it's not a GW figure, like some of your current ones, that is your audience, so you want them to be able to find it.
Definitely put some of those key words in the description so that people can search for it! Perhaps you can have a standard paragraph that you copy and paste for all of your auctions with some of that and your basic information (such as your painting awards/credentials), and then a separate paragraph with a few sentences describing the particular miniature in that auction.
I hope you do really well with these!

You might also want to start off with some of the smaller auctions and build up some rep first before you auction off the big stuff. It will give bidders more confidence in bidding for your pieces.
Definately needs some more key words. Think of what you'd use to search on them. While the term pro-painted is overused, you should certainly toot your own horn, where it's the truth. Multiple-award winning painter, 1st Place Orccon single figure ... etc.
Add more pics from various angles. They don't cost much extra, but give people more confidence in making a bid for your work.

the only problem that i have with the "key words" and "search", is that i never use 'em, is don't know yet what people are lookin' for...
i tried a "buy it now" purchase, and a bid, just too check out how it all works...
i don't collect painted minis myself, or use ebay to find deals...
before now, all my business was done through bartertown...
the only problem with bartertown, and any other forum's trading post, is that people actually seem to get offended when i ask for what i think my minis deserve...
i can understand if someone doesn't wanna fork over $150 for a painted plastic space marine, but i don't think it should piss people off...
my commission customers know they get what they pay for, so it's all good...
@ifurita:
these are the small auctions...
i'm sellin' off minis that have been in my case for way too long, in the hopes that they will make someone happy, get some use on the table, and help pay my rent(so i can continue to enjoy the beachbum lifestyle)...
right now, i just have to swallow my pride, and take what i can get...
even if i don't get much money to start, the support of the people in the hobby, and the kind words about my painting, sooth the pain of getting raped on my auctions right now ...
cheers

Hi, for some reason the auction links in your original post aren't working at the moment, although if I search for your seller ID I can still find them.
