Great writeup and convinced me to pick up the rules and give them a read. I haven't been this excited about a new rules set in a long time.

Gamesworkshop also has a pdf available that introduces the rules, company stats, and a few scenarios. Great download if you are interested in giving it a tumble.

Hardly a review though. They need to give it a new title. Its really shocking what some people think of as a review.

And I am posting here on my own so lets not drag any other online personas I have into this :-)

Its not just BoLS though so I am certainly not pointing a finger at them. They guys there did a decent enough job of writing a good summary of the game but there was no real critical discussion of it.

I think that its those additional critical elements that turn something from a discussion of the game and into a review.

Its difficult to do (lord knows that I didn't always do a good job of it) but I think that the web is really diluting the meaning of the word "review" and making it a lot more generic than it is intended to be
