Can't really remember much annoying things from GW workers, as I haven't been in a GW store for years, last time was the year of 3rd ed 40K...

I do remember that every single time I visit a GW store, I used to get the "noob chat", it always turned out poorly for the Redcoat:
Redcoat: "Soooo, you ever played before?" (They ALL seem to do that 4-second long "Sooo", most often with their hands clasped together, why is that?)
Me: yup.
Redcoat: "Well, what armies do you play? Have you seen the new..."
Me: Well, in Man O'War I've got a Dwarf and Empire fleet, got Chaos for bloodbowl, but I don't play that very often anymore, got some Chaos for 40K.
Redcoat: (Deer in headlights look) So, 40K, how do you like the new edition?
Me: Okay I guess, but it does lack some of the detail that Rogue Trader used to have.
Most back of at this point, with some comment about "know your way around the store then", the cool ones actually start chatting about the good old days. Every once in a while I got one that was fully servitorised and kept pushing a sales pitch. Those I just asked about things like Dragon Masters, Lost Patrol or Squats...
