I would integrate the third platoon into the first and second you don't really gain anything from having the third one besides the 4 extra melta which is a bad idea to waste you're points on a guard unit. I would also drop the veterans and go for more troops and storm troopers. i would also try and squeeze in a leman russ for some more fire power.

What with the new Codex coming out next month, you might not see many comments on this. Most folks are trying to figure out what they're going to run with the new rules.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Still new rules aren't out yet

I'd drop half of the meltas in your command squads, leaving behind enough antitank and making them less expensive to loose a model (and they will) as well as the stormbolters, they won't hurt the tanks the meltas shoot at and consume quite a lot of points...thus you'd get enough points for another infantry squad
Perhaps you should also change one or two hqs to flamers instead of meltas since you got enough lascannons and meltas in the rest of your army.

Meltas do not belong in infantry squads. They especially do not belong in lascannon infantry squads. Walking meltas are also pretty questionable in themselves. Get some Chimeras or pick up the Drop Troops doctrine. That way your command squads and vets have a chance at getting within 6" of an enemy tank.

Do you actually have all of these meltas? The cheapest way I can think of to put 28 meltas together is to bitz order six of the space marine 5-packs and do a little conversion work.

Diversify your specials. Yes, the melta has impressive stats. That does not make it the best weapon for every situation.
