I'm more or less dusting off my Ork army that hasn't been updating since, dear Lord, 3rd Ed. This list is essentially what's in the ol' army case plus some additions from AoBR. This list isn't designed to be hyper-competitive, just competent. 'Ere goes:

What I'd like to know is if the waaagh banner is waste of points, if ten of the 30 shoots should been sent over to a slugga mob, and if I should ditch the grots and Kommandos and feild some trukks instead? I also haven't seen too many deffdreads in people's lists on the forums, but I already have the models and don't feel like investing in the lead to buy 9 killa kans...

Dreads are decent if you keep the big mek near with the force field..most people just use kans because you get more for the same number of points (usually 2 for one)

I would turn that nob into snikrot in the commando unit if possible and try to find transportation for the nobs also one grot unit wont help much so you could get some trucks for the boyz squads(if you split them up/one of the sluggaz at least)

i think this unit is a waste, its 5 models with a 6+ save. give them eavy armor and/or a painboy for some survivablity. i like how your running them cheap though

4 kans with rokkits beats 2 dreds, but i know you dont wanna sink the cash so dreds are fine

I agree with Studder, especially around the Nobz. A painboy, and a trukk for the nobz can be aquired if you drop the gretchin, and you might even squeeze another nob out of the deal. If you leave them out slogging it you are just going to get them shot up before they reach the lines. At least with the trukk you get a nice burst of speed before it gets shot out from under you.

Anotherthing with the dreads is that if you can get them flamers instead of rokkits you are probably well off. However, if you can't, rokkits are not too terrible, and their threat will keep your opponants tanks honest, at least until your kommandos power claw the devil out of them.
