ok, the list looks nice and balanced, but i personally would never spend the points on gretchin, unless you have absolutely no other people or upgrades you can use you should not use them. other than that, i like the bike squad with the warboss, as long as you have the fire support to prevent them all from dying first turn, i think you'll be ok.

Regarding the gretchin, I sort of like the fluff about using them as front line cannon fodder. In practice, the are used to provide cover for the units behind them should they be ignored as targets. Also could be used as a cheap way to harass objectives and divide enemy attention between cheapo units or the more effective ones.

Although, removing them could see a battlewagon on the field with killcannon, rokkits, and a deffrolla. Giving a few points to spare on more boyz and providing choice transportation for the lootas. Hmm...thanks for bringing that up, ha ha, the wagon sounds purdy good right now. =/ shame I already bought half the gretchin.

I'd drop the meks you have attached to the lootas. They are pointless. You should try to max out the lootas to at least 15.

My only other suggestion is that maybe one or two more PKs on the nob bikers would definitely be worth it. It just makes them much more dangerous.

I'll consider putting in more lootas. I have the meks there for the Str8 AP2 kustom mega-blasters they carry. However, I'll see about removing them. I thought they were fairly powerful weapons on the cheap.

If I take the grots out, then I have room for more klaws. Ill see what happens after I throw a wagon in. Post 1500 pts though, this should be no problem.

However, my original reasoning for keeping klaws either low or limiting it to the boss only, was that I didnt want alot of units hitting last in an assault. since the nobz get a good amount of attacks in a charge, i figured I would be able to drop some enemies before they have a chance to do some damage. The general purpose of the klaws in my army though, is to fill the role of backup anti-vehicle (which you can see, I dont have much of otherwise).

also good. i would get a single PK in there, the extra 4 attacks at str 9 should overcome anything extra hard, even with the warboss in there swinging as well

slugga mobs rarely benefit from special weapons, if there not assaulting they should be running, cut the special weapons for points elsewhere

i find that rokkits in a shoota squad are a waste. if you interested in solid AT invest in some kans with rokkits. shoota boyz should have big shoots. not only doesn it add to volume of fire, but it also keep you on target. if you have rokits your tempted to hit up some armor in a pinch, thus negating the use of the rest of the squad.

decent, but for almost the same points i would go with 6 kans with rokkits.

concerning the special weapons in the boyz squads: I'll consider swapping them out/around. Sounds like a sensible idea.

Concerning the Slavers: not sure what you are getting at with that statement about "if you're swinging with the saver its already too late". As for the number of Slavers in the unit, you need 1 slaver for every set of 10 gretchin. 1-10 = 1 slaver; 1 -11 = 2 slavers. Slaver 1 is responsible for grots 1-10 and Slaver 2 is responsible for the remaining grot.

However, I guess I should drop the prods. Their purpose in my army isn't really a full combat role, so I don't suppose I should drop points into too many "just in case" scenarios. This along with the dropped special weapons in the slugga squads should afford me the PK in the Nobz Biker unit.

As for the meks in the group of lootas, I think they have a decent weapon. Also, I dont want to be buying too much crap, lol. Trying to save on purchases where I can. The 2 meks keep the group having more bodies without me having to buy another box of lootas.

You need runtherdz for every 10 grotz, not every set of ten, until you hit 20 you only need one, that should save you a few points.

As for not wanting to buy more lootas, i just converted some of mine from a boyz box when i had enough extra guns, and if you take two big shootas and a rokkit launcha glued together on a boy model and it looks believable, then its a loota. I think theres a thread somewhere about somebody making their own lootas, you could try that for ideas. And if your buying the nobz box your going to have a lot of choices with guns.
