Can someone explain this to me please? Abadon is a chaos accendent which means he gets all the marks of chaos correct?. if so than can I not stack the effects of the personal Icon (in this case the Icon of Tzeentch or Nurgle),they give to him, and because he is fearless obviously you wont give him the Icon of chaos glory, which gives a re-roll failed morale checks.?. so my question is can I give him a personl Icon that matches his mark and gives the same effect?.

Does it say in his codex entry he can have an icon?

Also I think you've got the way personal icons work wrong, check the rules.

Abbadon has the effects of all the marks at once (+1T, +1I, +1A and 4+inv save), all of which are included in his stat line.

Personal Icons only serve to allow deepstriking demons (the generic kind), terminators or obliterators not to scatter within 6" of him. He was one of those anyway.

As a special character you cannot give him any additional equipment, so you cant give him another mark (he has them all already).

so a personal icon is just for guiding and teleporting? doesnt give marks?. its not the choice of the 5 icons of chaos? I see.....

the bit I don't get about abbaddon is he has all the marks so does he get all the daemon weapons? with this sword which counts as a daemon weapon

No, as he has a special named weapon with its own properties.
