Please raise your hand if play BT and live in the Houston TX area, as I have just bought 'Total warfare' and am curious if I will have anyone to play.
I've tried to get some of my 40k buddies to play, but they are douchebags and are prejudiced against anything that is not GW.

Give it a day or two. Dakkadakka isnt really a Battletech board, so the BT fans might take a day or two to respond.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy. |

As a Catalyst Game Labs Demo Agent I would recommend you go to www.catalystdemos.com and sign up as a player. I am 90% sure there is an Agent and some players in that area.

Muchas gracias. Well since I'm here, what era of BT is most commonly played, ie; which mechs are used by which factions and when?

Personally I play most of my battle in either the 3025 era or the 3050 one, it's what I've got most material from.

Uh, yes. What ever era you want. Many players are keeping up with the Jihad time line as is current in the fiction. Other players refuse to play past 3025 to keep the old school feel. Yet there are still enough Clan players who obviously are restricted to those eras (Invasion through Refusal) or do Clan vs. Clan action.
Pick what era YOU want to play, then work from there. Starting in 3025 is good, because those 'Mechs can be used all the way up to the current time line.
