Is this right, the new space marines vehicles can move 12" and reroll a failed dangerous terrain test? Chaos and IG remain at 6" or less and do the same thing? And Orks with their armored plates or whichever its called can move 18" and reroll their failed rolls.

Yes, why wouldn't they? Neither the Ork nor the SM codex has any restriction on movement distance.

While the Chaos one has the same name as its imperial Equivalent, you use the rules in the Chaos Codex.

You forgot to complain about all of the dozer blades in the other Space Marine variant codices (including Blood Angels) which have the old dozer blade rules.

GW says to use what's in your codex.

Indeed. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if GW ever updated their freaking codex's, but they don't, which causes huge problems.

And you know why they wont release a single sheet of errata updating all these 3rd and 4th edition codex's?
Their Reason: oh but what about the poor 0.03% of people who play this incredibly expensive game who don't have any access to the internet, a friend with internet, a shop with internet, a club with internet or an internet café! they wont have the current rules! And all these people who bought all these codex's who need to print out the FAQ's to use them anyway will have loads of stuff in their code's changed!

The Real Reason: Moe Monneh!!!!

I'm not complaining, personally I think its cute how GW is deliberately inconsistent. What annoys me is having to remember that every army has the same wargear but it all works differently.
