I should have done this the other day but jumped right into the boards without thinking.

I've been doing 40k on and off since summer '02. My friend Shook, a former GW employee in Katie, TX before going Navy got me starte with Space Marines while in A school. I did built a miniscule army composed of the box set of Marines, a Predator Annhilator, a captain, SoB banner carrier (she was the banner carrier for SM as penance for some ghastly sin like only reciting the liturgy of liturgence 99 times instead of 100) and my favorite piece, the Dreadnought. Dreads are still my favorite Marine toy. Sternguard are now a close second.

No one to play so I stopped building for awhile, went on cruise, discovered Dan Abnett's Gaunt's Ghost books, got my friend Dave into 40K & Battlefleet Gothic (since we were quite appropriately on a ship at the time) Started painting some metal scouts on the ship, in a GW shop in Perth one afternoon and finishing it two years later when I had no one to play against after getting home.

Went to Iraq, got crazy ideas for building SM again, bought a bunch of stuff online so it was waiting for me when I got home. (My friend Dave, now half a world away, switched from Chaos to Orks in the meantime) I started building again for the love of building and it's only gotten worse from there. I now have a 2000 pt SM army (but not a very good one, that's simply all the models I have combined) "The Intruders", a small IG group that's getting bigger called the 1st Naval Rifles, they're Naval Infantry (like regular infantry but in blue) and a handful of SoB for variety. (No name for that order yet). Together they'll become an Apocalypse army called Joint Task Force Kill. (Working title)

Personally I'm artist and I move too much. My favorite movie is the Blues Brothers and my favorite caliber is .45 ACP.
