Here is my humble attempt at converting an Ironclad from the Black Reach dreadnought. It has the heavy flamer upgrade. The guns have been moved to the hull. The seismic hammer is a bit of a kluge. The spike on the end of it is an extra bit from a Khador Destroyer warjack - but could easily enough have been greenstuff. I like the look of the chaos smoke launchers, so I gave this dreadnought one of a similar style.

If you are feeling adventurous you could give the right side a bicep to make the hammer more of an arm than a turret.

I dunno. I never thought of the hammer as a swinging hammer so much as a pneumatic/hydrolic/promethium-powered ram. Kind of like a really big jack-hammer. As such, I really like the conversion. Kudos!

I agree thats a nicely converted dred. You did alot of detail on it.

Looks great, I like the extra armor, plasticard work, etc. I agree with delkins42 about making the hammer arm a bit different, if not to make it have more freedom/swinging ability, then to make it look more like a close combat weapon than something it is "shooting".

I have to convert another one, also from the Black Reach dreadnought. I think I will give your suggestion a try.

I am pretty inspired about this. A buddy of mine wants to get into the game so I thought about buying black reach to give him the Orcs out of it. I might have to do that now just to get a cheap dred to kit bash and covert it up.
