I've been fiddling around with fleets, and came up with an IN fleet that fits both my budget and what sounds interesting:

Mars x1 (not the planet)
Fleet admiral, 1 re-roll
Lunar x1
Tyrant x2 (not a squad)
Sword x3 (squad)

995pts
$45 bucks!

The list lets me play with a little of everything, since I get some torps, a nova cannon, and some fighters/bombers.

Not sure what, if anything, to do with that extra 5pts. Any ideas?

Can you upgrade your admiral or anything like that?

I was thinking about that, but couldn't figure out how to shuffle things around and still keep the fleet build so straightforward.

Any ideas?
