Okay, I got in a test game against a buddy Cryx-player:
I used:
Nemo with a Lancer, Centurion, and Stormclad
Units: Min Stormblades +UA, and Max Field Mechaniks
Solos: Arlan Strangeways, Squire, 3 Stormsmiths
He used, off the top of my head:
Epic Skarre with 4 Deathrippers, Reaper, Slayer, and Nightmare
Units: Revenant Crew
Solos: Captain Rengrave
Findings:
*Dice remain the same, I couldn't roll below a 10 on the skill checks with my Stormcallers.
*The Centurion is still a good 'Jack and turning on the Polarity field with a *Action is not that daunting.
*Arlan Strangeways took a hit from the nerf bat, but he's still good. And his ablity to put focus on a 'Jack is invaluable. (I wish he could Monkey Wrench with Fixer, like Dirty Meg but oh well.)
*Stormblades losing fearless means that I was more cautious with how I used them, even though models no longer run off the board.
*My field Mechaniks didn't get to do anything :(
*Squire... I forgot to use his Arcane accumulator, but he did extend Nemo's control area.
* My opponent didn't really do much with his stuff before the game came to an anti-climatic end, but...
* The new Reaper is good. The higher RAT means that it can reliably hit it's targets, and it can now drag large-based models. He said he no longer regretted buying the model.
During my third turn I noticed that there was a possible charge lane between my Stormclad and Epic Skarre, so I had Arlan Strangeways put a point of focus on it, and it got it's free point for activating near the Stormblades. I had also been upkeeping Disruption Field, so my Stormclad was at +2 STR. I charged and boosted the attack roll against Epic Skarre and hit, and then she took a P+S 21 hit and was killed with a roll of 13 on 3d6. The MKI Stormclad would not have been able to pull it off, so reach makes a big difference.
