Subject: Is 'Jack Marshall still viable? (theory machine)

With free 'jack points and the (apparent) capability to run 'jacks without a lot of focus, as well as the boosts 'jacks have gotten, does 'jack Marshall still remain viable?
-pros: a way to have that 4th/5th/6th 'jack without burning through focus, some solos/units still really encourage marshaling (e.g. Thor), some 'casters still not all about the 'jacks. Drive is still nice.
-cons: no focus to shake off, solos (who are the predominant JMs) more expensive/just as squishy. Uh...
Further thoughts: might make sense if you're fielding a caster that's still fairly infantry focused (Irusk, High Reclaimer) to have one-two 'jacks as 'freebies' and another 1-2 that're marshaled...
This is of interest to me as I tended to use marshals a lot (mostly the MOW Kovnik, but I had Thor for my Searforge, the Koldrun Lord ready to go, and always planned on running a Lancer with my Sword Knights, who seem to be pretty weaksauce on paper now anyway...)
Other thoughts?

They're definitely viable. Cygnar even has ways to give them Focus - the Stormclad with storm units, eNemo, and Arlan.

As a Cygnar player I can marshal a Stormclad that can receive a free point of focus from a squad of Stormblades, and get a point of focus from Arlan Strangeways. It could Marshal a charge and have two focus points to work with when it arrives at it's target, and now that is has reach it's even better.
The new Captain Darius can also make the Stormclad attack outside of it's turn for an added beatdown.

A marshalled Berserker is the BEST way to run the little guy. He runs and charges for free, and a Kovnik lets him boost his attacks!

Just noticed the ability to give an extra attack in lieu of a boost, charge etc. I'm thinking that will come in very handy, especially for Searforge 'jacks. A marshaled Driller, either working with Thor or in concert with Highshields (lord only knows what role they'd have now) could be VERY tasty indeed.
This is 50 points
Durgen
Gunner 3
Gunner -
Blaster 3
Blaster -
Rockram 8
Thor 2
-Bokur 3
-Driller 6
Herne & Jonne 3
Full Highshields 8
- Driller 6
Full Forge Guard 8
At 25 would lose the Bokur, Highshields, 2nd Driller and Forge guard, leaving Durgen, the lights and Rockram, thor and the Driller, and H&J. The two lists maximize the marshaling to, I think, good effect, at least for Searforge...

Jack Marshall's are awesome, better now since you can use their ability to buy a new attack. The MoW Kovnik definitely became a lot better since he got the Koldun Lord's drive.
