The Valkyrie's special disembarkment rules read that "If the Valkyrie has moved flat out, passengers may still disembark, but they must do so as follows." and then goes on to describe it's special rules for using deep strike to disembark. This brought up two questions for me.

1. Do you agree that this means unless the Valkyrie moves flat out you cannot use this special method of disembarking via deep strike?

and, assuming I am reading it correctly and they can't use this special disembark rules unless moving flat out:

2. How do you handle disembarking from a valkyrie's hatch when they are elevated so high off the table that no point on the table would be within 2" of the opening (similarly, what about embarking?).

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I Agree with that yes. Since it doesn't say you may use when not moving flat out.

I personally measure it off the horizontal plane, same for skimmers, since RaW the game breaks.

I agree with the Horizontal Plane. Its like using a Template Weapon in a Ruin. If shooting on a floor not on that same level as your own, you dont angle the template. You simply keep it parrallel to the space it would take if on the same floor as the shooter.

I think this concept would be the same for disembarking models from the vehicle while off the ground.
