Space Marine Scout with Sniper Rifle

This isn't so much a tutorial, as a question which will allow someone to do a tutorial.

We've all seen that epic IG sniper of Mephistoles1's, but the thing that really caught my eye was the scope on the rifle. How do you get those awesome glass-like ends on them?

Can someone post a proper tutorial either here or in a new thread, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know this

Does this help? Just remove the iris into normal shade of blue

My brush shapes are off but, all the high light's curves should be parallel to the center.
And if you notice the edge of the high light are *rounded , its to give the illusion of the surface
been curved.

Dont request tutorials in this forum, only in the painting and modelling forum. There is a sticky at the top of the tutorials forum asking you to not do this. I'll move this into painting and modelling because I dont want to encourage more requests getting posted, but luna if you want to expand on your nice little mini tutorial there then please feel free to post it in a new thread in the tutorials forum.
