So this is my Tyranids army that I am ever so slowly painting. It's basically Hive Fleet Behemoth colors only reversed.























And this is a side project I recently finished. A few people have said they want to count it as an Ork Biker







And this is my Master Crafted Thunder Hamster, her name is Kayobi (Japanese for "Tuesday", the day before we bought her ) She enjoys entering the Land Raider from the Heavy bolter emplacement (as it is missing) and then push open the Assault Ramp and deploy onto the field. She enjoys walking about the board we play on and hiding in buildings.

yes i did have mad thoughts of building a Skaven army and constructing a howdah for one of my pet rats and letting him loose on the battlefield. I hasd no intention of actually doing that rthough, rattie probably would not understand.

Now my ratties are gone, they do not live long and thoughts of skaven armies return from time to time. skaven are too expensive which makes things difficult, the easy part is that I know what my Warlord will be called and what colours to paint them is pretty fixed too.

The ork on the bug is freaking awesome!!!! Just like an ork... Keep up the good work!

I'm also making a custom Tyranid objective marker. Once it's painted it will be posted up here...no telling how long it will be till then though

I'm working on my first scenic base now. It's a Lictor tearing apart a Firewarrior. Once I get it a bit more towards completed I'll post some pics of it.

Seriously, I don't think the Hive Mind has that good of a dental plan.

Not bad though! Keep it up! I might throw a light red wash on the carapace to try to blend the reds together a little more, but that's just me.

I agree with matlov those teeth are SUPER WHITE. You should name your nids hivefleet colegate! Other then that I dig the nids man. Nice colors.

You know, I think you're onto something with that ork riding a termagaunt. I think you should work on sculpting some riding gear, make a corpse on a stick as well.

Oh and I do have a justification for the teeth. I figure since nids are basically digested and regrown into new nids at the end of each planetary meal their teeth would be brand new and not yet stained by all that corrosive human blood besides I really like the contrast. It reminds me of the bugs from the Aliens movies, they're really dark and then the stark white teeth, makes em look menacing in my opinion.

Keep in mind he is nowhere close to done. The base still has a great deal of work to be done and the Lictor just needs some touch-ups. As you can see I greenstuffed the Feeder Tendrils. Inside is the Firewarrior head, although it's near impossible to see unless you look at the model in person

The Lictor's cool. I was really disappointed that you took the tentacles off of the mouth to make new ones, because I really like the head from the new Lictor. Then I saw what you did with the Firewarrior head, so I forgave you.

Oh thank you Jesus I have Aduro's approval But yes I agree that the new Lictor's look much better than the old ones. And it wasn't exactly easy to just snip off the tendrils like that...at least I made myself committed to finish it by doing that
