OK Fellow Dakkites,

I'm currently working on a 1500 point witch hunter's list, and am trying to figure out if it would be allowed to use a landraider variant in my army list, as the redeemer is quite suitable for the overall theme. (The witch hunter's codex allows for a landraider to be taken for the inquisitor/inquisitor lord's transport, and as I'm going for a heavily tanks army, I thought it would be a good choice to get my inquisitor into close combat with) Also, the witch hunter's codex came out before there were any landraider variants (2001) I think, so opinions are very welcome as I don't want to go off and buy a tank I can't use.
Thanks in advance!

Sadly only the standard is allowed. But if your not doing a tourney, see if your opponent wont mind

Yup, you can only use whats in the codex (that is, the standard one).

If you're playing a friendly game then just ask nicely, if they refuse, just play it as a "Counts as" normal land Raider.

In a tournament, you'd have to use a standard land raider however (unless the TO will let you use a Redeemer as a counts as normal one).

I would suggest getting the extra bitz and magnetising the weapons on so you can swap them as needed.
