Like the title says, I'm looking for a how-to for flocking the bases of my models. I understand the basic "just getting by" method of putting glue on the base then dipping the base into sand, but the results are subpar compared to the paintjob I've given the models, so I don't want to go this route. I've tried the search feature on the forums, but I got results that were everything BUT what I needed. Anyone got any advice?

Here's my basic method. Still pretty fast, but looks good.

These are great. Just what I was looking for. Most of the advice I had ran into came from people irl who just said "put glue on the base, then dip it in sand. VOILA!" and looking at the results from following those abbreviated instructions I knew there had to be more to it..
Thanks loads.

anyone got any suggestions for how to do large portions of fractured pavement for urban terrain? I could still use the kitty litter for smaller debris.
