Not many people do Tallarn or Mordia.

But basically, anything that ISN'T using Cadian models gets you extra points....

cool

Been thinking of doing a gas mask heavy WW1 themed trench army combining Pig Iron gas masks Bretonnian Men at arms and Cadian or empire rifle kits make them real low tech kind of guys with flintloque weapons will bash up some concepts and slap em on my WIP thread end of month so 25th you get a triple whammy Uruks,Orks,Marines,Imp Guard WIP thread.!

Basically what I intend to do is a platoon to start with basic 3 10 man squads (Infantry only) with Platoon command to establish the theme and feel of the regiment I have been cooking up the idea that they come from a technologically backwards world with low tech Georgian/Victorian looking towns and cities that they are a first levy having recently been brought into the Imperiums fold and now pay tithes and taxes and have been required to raise Imperial Guard to fight heretics on nearby worlds embroiled in Civil Wars and Uprisings.

I have 5 starting characters forgive me for using Gaunts Ghosts as a template I have also used sharpe though and the recent Rudyard Kipling drama that was on a couple of Christmas's ago as inspiration

Basically I want one sturdy central character a colonel raised in the old ways loves his homeworld is fighting for that rather then out of duty for an Imperium he hardly knows
I also want a young character as a junior officer who is attached to him as a aide a muscian who plays drums or a fife a Hard edged Comissiar and a grizzled country man the rest of the regiment will be raised around this central platoon I will try to name all of these models as they are the first to be inducted.

Any feedback and critisism will be appreciated I dont bite.....(much)

Sounds good

Just remember, IG w/ Cadian plastics is still a rather expensive army.

When you start converting, the price only goes up!

I wonder what kind of conversion could be done mixing a Empire Rifle and a Cadian Lasgun...

And those plastic Empire steam tanks look cool

Indeed I am intrigued at what can be done.

And price I buy gakloads so Im not really bothered over prices I just love my hobby and I am aware of the looming price increase but meh I love it and Im not fussed.and conversions love it!

Might also make a couple of carriage and possibly horse drawn heavy weapons!

On the subject of price further however I have heard of people that make green stuff molds intrigued at how that works.......My friend who does Space Wolves had make a shed of pieces using this method and it works really well.

DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG! you may not be able to buy ANTHING else for a while, and you may have to give up your first born, but an infantry heavy army of these bad boys is going to make you the center of jealousy in your local gaming establishment.

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

Valhallans are my favorite.

They can be supplemented by Krieg, Steel Legion, and even Vostroyans without looking too goofy.

I use Valhallans as my stock guardsmen and Vostroyans as Veterans. A few Steel Legion with special weapons mix in with the Valhallans. Its hard to notice that they're not Valhallans because they also have coats.

This one is vacillating between lists and discussion. I'll forward to army list as it is more appropriate. YMTC is for rules discussion freakouts.
