Hey guys!

I am finishing up my undergraduate and moving to Chicago for my job in August.

As such, I'm looking for a gaming group/FLGS to get involved in once I'm up there. I will be in downtown Chicago, and probably will not have a car, but the public transportation is pretty good from what I hear.

I am living downtown at a family friend's studio apartment, so I don't know how much space I will have for hosting games, but if I do have the room, I would be more than willing to do so.

I know there is Black Sun games, but that is about a 45 min public transit ride from my apartment. Are there any clubs/stores/groups closer?

Let me know!

I am very excited for the move!

I'm new to playing with people I don't know in Chicago but there's several GW stores. Mostly a suburban thing but a lot of them are a quick train ride away from downtown. Downer's Grove is the main location (called "The Bunker") but there are several satellite stores, lots of regularly scheduled games, room to just chill and paint, etc.

Games Plus & GW Oak Park are both in easy walking distance from the trains. The other GW locations (like the Bunker) are completely suburban & require a car to get to.
