Given that Hordes MkII is likely to use model specific rules found in Warmachine let us speculate (wildly if need be).

Here goes:

Light cavalry: Troll and Skorne players will love the new light cavalry rules, Legion and Circle less so. I can also see raptors losing their second attack.

Immunity: Trolls should do well out of Immunities with a specific troll for three of the four. Krueger players will be deeply saddened by lightning immunity for their enemies.

Flight: Is it the new wings? If it is Legion beasts will be on the receiving end of a lot of free strikes.

Shake Effects: Because Warbeasts needed to be a little more broken. Warlocks at least can be forced to take damage to get up.

Power Attacks: maybe the Legion ones will make more sense (no slam for the Seraph, two handed throws for the Carnivean).

MAT & RAT boosts: A useful Argus? Combined with no Forfeit and Run, maybe so.

Spain in Flames: Flames of War (Spanish Civil War 1936-39) Flames of War: Czechs and Slovaks (WWI & WWII) Sheffield & Rotherham Wargames Club

And you wonder why I didn't want a rule change for Hordes... Not only does it limit alot of things for a few new rules, but now, until they release Hordes MKII for me, I cant play with all my friends that only have a warmachine army.

It's a sad day at my flgs. We dont mind the changes, I think they are great IMHO, it just sucks that the fluff and story line ties them together and now we cant play each other at all.. We still MKI rules though, so I guess it's not a big deal. I just cant help my buddy when he says " Hey, can I test out my new MKII list with you?"

Sometimes you just have to let em' go...

That's why I bring my cards with me even though I also have the Field test rules.

I just feel sad because I dont get to be involved with the new stuff. And it really sucks because we just got Meta and I was excited about that, and MKII back to back. For right now the new point system just takes it away.

well, since the new point system and whatnot doesn't officially go into effect til january, you still have many months of gaming goodness, and around the time mk2 comes out, they should release the test stuff from hordes mark 2
