Hello, I am an avid Warhammer 40k fan, and slight blood bowl enthusiast. My favorite race is Eldar, although I do hold a special spot for all the Chaos gods, and of course the offspring of Chaos and Eldar, the Dark Eldar! I also love Tyranids, but only because they are modelling wet dream lol. I love all parts of the hobby with equal intense love. I insist on converting almost every minature in some way, and for things like vehicles and HQ i love extravagent conversions. I enjoy painting to a high standard, and I like trying to come up with original styles and schemes. Finally I can't get enough of the strategy, especially doing numbers on the effectiveness of units, and of whole armies, I'll often re-write an army list about 100 times with almost every unit in an army before even buying my first minature lol.

I love the look of these forums and all the cool painting and conversions, as well as the theory crafting, and look forward to being a strong member

If you've ever played SC then you would have had a wet dream about infested kerrigan lol.

But from a converting/painting/gaming point of view Tyranids have so many possibilities and their miniatures almost ALWAYS look cool, so it's hard not to get excited about them lol.

Well sorry if you felt a bit offended by my post I wasn't trying to be nasty.Anyway,you're right on the money about the Tryanids,one thing I don't like about the standard models is the "I want a hug" genestealer brood leader(or whatever its called,I myself have never played Tryanids.)

He's far better than the converions I used to have to attempt mixing warriors from 4th or 3rd edition with the genestealer minis. Anyway he's easily converted into a more dynamic (less touchy feely) pose with some wire and green stuff! But I do feel sorry for all the less artistically gifted players that are forced to field a leader that reminds you more of your great aunt than of a bio-engineered killing machine lol. Then again at least he doesn't look as bad as the old raveners that had the wrong shaped head and looked like they had a grin from just telling a dirty joke rofl!
