I have been trying to build a workable close combat army with Eldar for a while. I have had some success with Eldarzilla, but they are super slow. The assault factor is good but slow to get its grips on the enemy.

So I added a few fast units:

Avatar
Farseer (jetbike, doom, fortune, runes of warding, spirit stones, singing spear)
Warlocks x5 (jetbikes, destructors x3, embolden, enhanced)

Harlequins x9 (Troupe Master, Shadowseer, Death Jester, Kisses, fusion pistol)
Harlequins x9 (Troupe Master, Shadowseer, Death Jester, Kisses)

Jetbikes x6 (Shuriken Cannon x2) Ojective Grabbers that reserve and hang around Avatar's fearless bubble, but try to stay out of assault
Jetbikes x6 (Shuriken Cannon x2)
Dire Avengers x10 (Escort Avatar and try to keep swarms off of him with fire support)

Wraith Lord x3 (Missile Launcher, Bright Lance)

What do you think...........? Is it an okay Army List that could take on some Power builds in a tournament setting.

If you are doing the seer council on bikes, don't skimp, go all the way. 5 more warlocks on bikes will make this army much more competitive.

Right. One full unit of Harlies should suffice. Take embolden twice as you cannot afford to loose the Warlock with that power.

Somewhere in the unknown universe.

With the Dire Avenger, make sure you take the Exarch with simmershield and defend. This will make it so the enemy cannot carve through them in CC as easily.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

You need a spirit seer to babysit those wraithlords. I suggest a small squad of guardians with a warlock to go behind the avatar and wraithlords.

Actually they are kind of exendable to me. I just want them to escort the Avatar and try to keep crowd control for a while, so the Avatar want be so heavy out numbered, I had no intention of getting them into combat, but I do see the merit of your point. Just in case they do get multicharge with the avatar, who would take wounds because of Dire Avengers losing out in combat resolution. Yes, your point is highly valuable given a smart player would exploit this.
