Ork with human eyes make them look... too intellegent.
It also look too *neat

I really like him! IMO he could use a little more damage on the shield.

Love the idea, turned out very very nicely, I would like to see them with a few sun spots/highlights maybe. But other than that FANTASTIC.

This reminds of the is "Is this gargant cute" poll from a few days ago. "Is this ork intelligent-looking?" We'd probably mostly say yes after being asked, just for the novelty of it, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing

Thanks for the comments. I am re-honing my skills. Have not really painted anything to any detail recently and this unit/hero where where I started.

I think the more I look at it I agree that there needs to be more battle damage. At least damage befitting a fight hungry black orc hero.

As for the eyes, I almost left them black. Once I started to actually paint them, I realized the one on the right (models left) was partially missing. I mean there is a hole right where the outside edge of that eye is. That is why it is smaller then the others. I will look at some other possible non-humy lookin eyes. Any suggestions?

I like the eyes honestly, makes him look like far less of a 'comedy' orc. More of a truly cunning opponent to be feared. Aside from that good job all around =)
