Saw the preview in a buddy's game mag today. Let me tell you that gak is gonna be great. Its set in the renaissance time when Da vinci was alive, he apparently is in the game. Some things I remember, you can swim now, bout time, you can pick up any weapon and use it, you can assasinate from cover (showed doing it from a haybale) you can escape into the water to hide in Venice. You get to fly Da Vinci's flying machine. Can't wait and will preorder that game for sure.

I started up the first game, but only played it for an hour or so. To be honest, the whole angle completly ruins the atmosphere imo.

I liked the first one, and i'm deffinately going to pick up the second one, i like that they dropped the sit there and eavesdrop missions for things like tailing people. You got to do both in the first one, but eavesdropping got boring fast.

can't wait to buy the second one! the first assassins creed was amazing! It needs multi player though....

The first one was awful. It was like God of War trying to be stealthy and failing. The Assassin is just a slightly more emo version of Kratos. At least Kratos has manly muscles.

First one was a good rental game. I hope they fixed the "hidden blade counter killing everybody no matter how tough they are" thing.

I think I would rather get the upcomming Infamous.

You can counter with the hidden blade? I mean, I've killed 100+ guards in one area using the sword counter, but I've never been able to counter with the hidden blade...

I know Brook. I played the first hour or so. I was just dissapointed, because I thought a setting like this didn't really need such an extreme "twist".

The first one was bad it got very boring and very repetitive, there was not depth to the game play

If it leads to a cyberpunk near-future assassin game, it's worth it.

Well the next one has more enemy variations and the side things(find the flags etc) are supposed to have actual in game rewards. There is also health and synch. So if you take a huge wound you have to see a doctor instead of just hiding.

More enemy variations is what I like.
Assassin's Creed: Templars, guys with swords, guys with bows.

Assassin's Creed 2: Pikemen, guys with swords, guys with crossbows, knights, and guys with daggers that can do many of the things that your character can do. Pikemen may also poke hiding places with pikes to see if anything is in the hiding spot.

I also heard Da Vinci might be in the game.

See, that's just silly. The Assassin isn't manly enough either. Kratos doesn't need no wimpy flying machine or stealth.
