I should do with them I have already set them up in a pitch battle set up with the stealth squads infiltrated and the rest of the army of the 12inch line right now i have second turn i was wondering where i should move my men and if i should try to seize the insitive

i'm a fan of purposed crisis suits. either load up with high strength/low ap (twin plas or plas/missle) or go for discount suits (twin flamer). albeit my actual experience is minimal with tau, my guardsmen do alot better when i tailor their weapon loadouts to the job they should be doing.

Well i tired something and it kinda worked out where i was able to shoot the monterious creatures and then shoot the troops. i still lost but that was a deployment issue i left my troops in there transports on the first turn which left his troops to kill me.
