Essentially the only DVDs I buy are of TV shows as you get hundreds of hours of shows for double the price of a new movie DVD.

But am looking to upgrade to a Blue Ray player soon and the idea of each series of Stargate being on 2 discs is very appealing from a space point of view.

But there is a dearth of Blue Ray's released for TV shows so far here in Oz and I was wondering what the situation was like in the US and UK.

Haven't paid much attention. However, Amazon is taking pre-orders for BSG complete series on Blu. IIRC it is to ship in July.

I checked out Amazon afetr I made the post and there is a growing collection of complete series there.
But they don't say if the Blu-rays are region free (apparently 75% of the world's Blu-ray discs are).

In that case, why not check a domestic online retailer and see what they offer? Looks like you're in region B.

TBH, check out Hong Kong stores. HKFlix, YesAsia and others will often sell region free discs where some domestic retailers won't.
