Your GS looks pretty good. I also really like those tank parts used for armor. Nice touch

I used the body of the Balrog (misspelled) From LOTR and did a lot of GS work to the head and body. It's going to be a Blood Thirster when it's done.

Other than the LOTR balrog boxed set I'm not entirely sure what I ended up using to make it, mostly bits from the chaos upgrade sprue that were never used on my defiler.

The wings, tail and legs are from the Balrog the body is almost pure GS putty and the head is about half GS work as well.

If I had seen it before you painted it, I would have recommended a few less Chaos Undivided sigils, and a few Khorne sigils instead.

Speaking of which, is the X supposed to be the Khorne sigil, or a personal sumbol for this particular Thirster? Because if it's supposed to be the Khorne symbol, it's not quite right.

The axe is lovely, though.

To the OP, I don't want to be a pain, as it is an awesome model - but if you are planning on entering it into GD, please check with the organizers if LOTR bits are alowed in the WH/WH40k categories. In the past models using bits from the LOTR ranges were admissable as entries, but disallowed from winning due to their deal with New Line.

very valid point, plus great green stuff work honestly though I think the plates and the spikes detract so much from it. Had you GS something upon him instead I think you would have conveyed a much stronger effect.
