I looked through search, and I don't have a SM Codex - but asking:

Does the new Storm Shield just give a flat 3+(I) save vs shooting/CC, or is it still just Close Combat?

Thanks!

3+ vs both Shooting & CC & no more "shield works only on one unit attacking you" stuff

When reading a new rule, always remember to throw out the old rule first, too often it can colour your reading and lead to misinterpretations.

The storm shield rules are quite clear "A model with a storm shield has a 3+ invulnerable save."

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Muahahahahah! The ozzie Ninja was Ninja'd!

But yes, forget everything you thought a Shield did and read the new rule. You have a 3++ save against everything and anything any kind of attacks directed at the model with the storm shield unless such an attack has additional special rules that would ignore its invulnerable save.

Except, if like me, you have a large Black Templar army. Yay, same wargear working differently for different armies!!
