I troll these forums fairly often, as one of my 40k armies is Orks.

I figured I'd post just to let people know in case there are any VA/DC/MD trollers here besides me!

Strategy Gamers, Incorporated is a newly minted non-profit charity organization in the DC area, starting up a 40k Summer League and Charity Tourney, opening May 1.

All of the information on the league can be found at the link below, but the cliff's notes are as follows:

League participation is free
Tournament will be pledge-and-donation-based, with the winner donating any winnings to charity of choice (from among three choices still TBD)
League trophies and medals, plus league standings affect tournament seedings
3 Scheduled opponents / month, players free to set times and locations with said opponents
Additional games at player will
2,000 point fixed list, can change list 5 days prior to the beginning of each subsequent month
