After having served me so well in the games where I've used them, the least I could do was to finish painting these guys. I'll be adding the eye of Ulthwe at some point once I've figured out where to place it. Suggestions welcome;

For the eye, I'd place it in the area below the canopy.

Nice basings and woot for colored canopy

Lovely. The tinting on the canopies really sells these, though I kind of wish it was smoother. Also, I'm quite impressed with how your white turned out, but you should paint the ends of your other two scatter laser barrels. But all in all a class act. Kinda makes me want to dust off my Ulthwe collection.

BTW, what are those things that point down just in front of the legs?

JOHIRA: I imagine they're counterbalances, like you have on a slingshot or rifle; Eldar tech is supposed to look accurate but fragile.

Ebsolom: Lovely pained walker man! How do you find the mixed loadout though? Many would advise against that.

That is EXACTLY how I kitted out my War Walker, though yours is infinitly more awesome.

Yeah, i am starting a Saim Hann army and would love to know how you tinted the canopies on the walkers. Very good looking.

I agree on the placement of the eye, btw, just below the canopy would work great

Thanks for the comments people! The red staining was done with a slightly watered down red ink, now OOP but other thinned down inks would do just as well.
The black highlighting was done using Fenris Grey Foundation paint.

Tek: I find this weapon loadout suits me best although if I was fielding single walkers I would probably go for two Scatter lasers.
