Well guys I just thought I would let all my ork players know that the orks have accumulated another victory in a tournament. I took a 2000 point army to a local tournament just about 30 minutes away. My friend, 2headedlictor, took his 2000 pt Tyranid army and joined in the tournament as well. Both my self and 2headedlictor(2HL) won both of our first and second games. I came out on top in the painting contest which gave me some extra points i guess. I faced another ork player who fought well, but just couldn't stand up against my Nob Bikers. My second game was against the Necron. I have never fought them and found them to be way cool, but I ended up gaining a lot of kill points on him, like 6 to 2. I was able to destroy a monolith with Ghaz, I think I was the only one who destroyed one during the tournament. 2HL faced off against the necrons in his first game and was victorious. His second game was against the Inquisition. The sisters of battle looked awesome and his Saint chick was sweet looking as well, but they died quickly to the swarm of nids overpowering them. Round 3 was basically a championship round for myself and 2HL. We both had to face one another. I play 2HL all the time and I find his Nids very, very difficult to defeat, but 2HL is a freak of nature and really should be commanding a real army as a 4star general....he is a freaking genius when it comes to strategies...anyhow the orks and nids fought viciously and ended up in a draw. He got warlord but I won overall. Hats off to everyone we fought and to my friend, 2HL for his vicious bugs and even more vicious strategic mind.

The Tournament was in Mountain Home.

My Army List was:

Ghaz

Warphead Weirdboy

Troop Choice - Nob Bikers x 9 with Painboy (2 powerclaws, 4 big choppas and 2 choppas)

Trukk Boyz x 2 - 12 slugga boyz with trukk

30 Slugga Boyz with 2 big shootas

30 Slugga Boyz with 2 big shootas

20 Shoota Boyz with 1 big shoota

Battlewagon with Deff Rolla, Kannon, & 2 big shootas

It worked well against the other ork player and the necrons, but the Tyranids I needed more boyz and maybe another Deff Rolla Battlewagon.

Rahveel....do you live in Idaho?
