I am looking for a good airbrush with compressor that doesn't require me to take out a bank loan to purchase. I am willing to pay more for something quality, but I don't want to break the bank either. Do any of you folks have any suggestions of a good model, or a location that sells quality product?

Harbour Freight has a great deal here for a whole kit http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95630
I've used the compressor and you wont need anything more if your just air brushing. It's also lightweight and quiet. Can't say about the brush that comes with it though. But for >$90 bucks thats a damn good deal!
Otherwise theres just the compressor here http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=92403
I personally use a Badger brand air brush and it seems to suit my needs, the GW one is fine for you basics too

Testors makes a compact little compressor that I saw in the Military exchange ( I am sure your local model shop has it or could get it) It was like $75 or so. I have the older veriosn of the the one currentlyfor sale, unfortunately I just dont use it much. But it works well and no real noise. I use a model master series air brush, I like it fine although like I said I dont use it near as much as i should.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am checking into them. Has anyone heard of the Aztek brand? Are they any good?

Aztek is by Testors.
A good brand. Not pro-level, but more than good enough for most work.
(I occasionally use a Paasche).

What are the pro brands? I'd like to look and wish I could get one.
